The Question:
Some of you might be wondering, so what is a DNS Server and what can it do for me?
The Answer, FREE DNS Servers:
DNS stands for Domain Name System. You can often notice that using a third-party DNS Server will help improve your browsing experience. Third Party DNS can help you increase your browsing speed (and not your downloading speed), the time it takes to load a web-page is often improved using a third-party DNS services such as Google, OpenDNS, etc.. But that isn’t always the case as sometimes your ISP may provide better DNS than these third-party ones.
The simplest task of a DNS is to translate host names such as (google.com) to a ip address like (221.120.207.29). But most of the third party DNS Servers provide more functionality and are much more secure and up to date than the DNS server of your ISP. They are dedicated DNS servers and well designed for handling all sorts of complicated DNS tasks and requests. So these third-party DNS servers can offer just more than the basic DNS functionality. Many use third-party DNS Services to bypass website block or censoring by your internet service provider.
When your ISP decides to block a certain website, it might prefer to block DNS requests for that website, rather than blocking the entire IP address. This type of a block is known as DNS Blocking. In such circumstances, using alternate, uncensored or “open” DNS servers can turn out to be an easy way to bypass that limitation. BUT, as i already said it doesn’t necessarily always work!For example: When your ISP blocks your favorite website (such as Facebook or Twitter), you can trying using third-party DNS to bypass that block (but remember that it does not always work); or if you know the IP Address of the desired website you can use that to access the website, but then again that doesn’t always work either.
If you want to Bypass DNS Blocking / Censoring by using the IP address of the website instead of the domain, you can use something like the command prompt to find the website’s IP address ? For example, to find Google’s IP address we would type the following in the Command Prompt window.ping www.google.com or just ping www.google.com
The Command prompt will resolve the IP for the hostname when you ping it.

Google’s Public DNS Server
Google Public DNS is a free, global Domain Name System (DNS) resolution service, that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider. If you want you can read what Google has to say about the Google Public DNS service.

Since Google Public DNS supports IPv6 connectivity as well, you have to change IP address accordingly if you want to move on to the IPv6 one. One of the notable advantages you will have by shifting from ISP DNS to Google Public DNS is enhanced security and optimized speed since Google uses Anycast routing for searching the closest server for data interaction. Google Public DNS is said to be resistant to DNS Cache Poisoning attacks as well as DoS attacks.

Note:- I already stated above but just like to clearly say again that changing your DNS will not improve your downloading speed and it does not bypass all sorts of blocks from your ISP either.
Here is a million dollar tip 🙂 After changing your DNS, before sure to clear the DNS Cache of your computer. In Windows you do that by opening the command prompt screen, and typing the below.ipconfig /flushdns
OR
dscacheutil -flushcache (for Mac OS X 10.5 and newer)
/etc/rc.d/init.d/nscd restart (for Linux)

4 DNS servers of PTCL which you stated are closed. only 202.125.132.12 are able to send name response. but it will not improve your net performances.
Use google DNS. better and comfortable.
Seems you’re right, but i’m not surprised i just posted that as some poor souls still prefer to use PTCL’s own DNS Servers (i know some of those poor souls), and spend quite some time to find ones that are working.
I have been using Third-Party DNS Servers for over an year or two now. Google’s DNS Server or in backup cases i use the OpenDNS Servers.

That’s really all you need, technically speaking you don’t even need two. Even one dns server would do fine. So you don’t need to put 4 dns servers, 2 is the most possible.

As you tube is blocked in Pakistan so you should use somekinda bypass like VPN ( virtual private network) or try to change your DNS to google DNS which is 8.8.8.8
