Wordpress team posted the new look we will be seeing in the upcoming release of Wordpress – Wordpress has been gathering feedbacks from bloggers around the globe to learn how there blogging experience is and how Wordpress can help and improve it.

The feedback gathered resulted the layout to be switched to a three-column style view, the design is quite appealing you must have a look if you intend to upgrade and even if you do not use still must – You know never maybe it will change your decision.  (Read more to see screen shots!)

The style and layout should be one of the most appealing upgrade I think, The release of Wordpress 2.7 is expected to be out by November 10th, 2008.

Is that a much better look for all of us? It looks superb I cannot even keep my eyes off it. I can tell you this again means that the future releases of wordpress are sure to improve big time, this also makes our blogging days happier… Improvements such these are what makes blogger blog!

One neat feature that i found pretty interesting and useful was the inclusion of QuickPress!

QuickPress is a new feature that provides the ability to start (or publish) a simple post from the Dashboard when you don’t need the full feature set of the Add New Post screen. Currently, these posts can contain title, text, media and tags. In 2.8 we hope to make the module configurable, so that each user can decide which few fields make the most sense to display.

If you Save as Draft, you will see the new draft appear in the Recent Drafts module right away. Clicking Cancel will clear the form. Publish publishes the post. Posts made using QuickPress are the same as other posts and may be editing by going to Posts > Edit and selecting the post in question.

One last thing: both in this module and on the Add New post screen, we’ve put as much space as possible between the Save Draft and Publish buttons, so for all of you who’ve asked at WordCamps or emailed or posted somewhere to request this, ta da! Hopefully this will reduce accidental publications.

• Availablity of Minutes - Getmooh can only make a certain number of calls a day. As People add calls, the minutes available get used up. Select the closest time to when you want a call. If the time you need is completely booked out we apologise.. We are working to increase the number of calls we can make all the time.
• PRANK or CRANK Calls – Keep a note that Getmooh has all records of every calls made so they can easily hand over your information – if the person you made a prank/crank to comes to them to ask about it.

Burning your blog feed is one of the most important steps a blogger needs to take; this is a necessary step for those people who run a blog or site that has subscriber feeds.

We will be using FeedBurner, it is one of the best Feed Burners around, and Google has acquired FeedBurner now

Below are some of the benefits you get when you burn your feeds using a Feed Burner:

This sounds hard, and I really hated to do this because it involved hard coding stuff to your blog – now ever since I found this cool wordpress plugin called FeedSmith, This plugin is now provided and supported by Feedburner, it was originally developed by Steve Smith.

I know many of you out there are looking for Counter Strike servers to play in - but obviously have hard time finding them, i know because i did too

I dont play Counter Strike anymore all thanks to Wateen, but still i know many who does but Wateen as i said previously i will gladly said it again - Wateen is NOT a platform to play online games such as Counter Strike - i think you might have a good chance playing DotA Allstar or World of Warcraft on Wateen using the GG Game Client - but i haven’t tried that. I’m sure it pretty much work smoothly, if anyone tried that please do post and let everyone know how your expereince was.

OK, now here are list i have managed to collect - Some of the servers are Wateens own servers i forgot which ones they are but i think they’re the ones in the Top. I personally checked and played on these Game Servers before posting it here so i know they are working perfectly fine.

There are Wateen Game Servers and WorldCall servers both on the above list there are some other servers too which are all based in Pakistan - so every one will have a good-to-decent ping / latency on it.

Do note you will need to have an Anti-Cheat Client in order to play on most of these servers, its called sXeInjected you can download it for Free from its website.

Yesterday, i noticed a link saying “Download Google Chrome (beta)” while i was on Google’s Homepage, i just couldn’t resist so i clicked it and went for a download.

While it was being installed i did a small search for the new Web Browser but couldn’t find anything interesting to hear about it.

I was wondering Why google is making a browser - so i found some info on it but that really doesn’t cover everything heres the text grabbed from Google Chrome site:

A fresh take on the browser

At Google, we spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. And like all of you, in our spare time, we shop, bank, read news and keep in touch with friends - all using a browser. People are spending an increasing amount of time online, and they’re doing things never imagined when the web first appeared about 15 years ago.

Since we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if you started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build.

So today we’re releasing the beta version of a new open source browser: Google Chrome.

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff - the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Under the hood, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today’s complex web applications much better . By keeping each tab in an isolated “sandbox”, we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built V8, a more powerful JavaScript engine, to power the next generation of web applications that aren’t even possible in today’s browsers.

This is just the beginning - Google Chrome is far from done. We’ve released this beta for Windows to start the broader discussion and hear from you as quickly as possible. We’re hard at work building versions for Mac and Linux too, and we’ll continue to make it even faster and more robust.

We owe a great debt to many open source projects, and we’re committed to continuing on their path. We’ve used components from Apple’s WebKit and Mozilla’s Firefox, among others - and in that spirit, we are making all of our code open source as well. We hope to collaborate with the entire community to help drive the web forward.

The web gets better with more options and innovation. Google Chrome is another option, and we hope it contributes to making the web even better.

But enough from us. The best test of Google Chrome is to try it yourself.

Google isn’t finished here, if you noticed the Google Chrome web browser is Open Source meaning it will surely be one of the biggest browsers on the internet with Google backing it up It still doesn’t look right i mean there are already dozens of browsers out already and some which includes Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera if they really wanted a “Good” web browser they could’ve Evolve Firefox further now it seems that Firefox and Google are in Competition.

One of the most useful feature i found was the New Incognito Mode - while browsing in Incognito window you dont have to worry about cleaning up your traces (history, cookies, passwords) from your browser because it never saves them.

Everything else is same just like FireFox - the only biggest factor you will see is the speed performence where Googe Chrome is currently looking like the fastest web browser.

Currently its the beta stages so i’ll just have to wait and see what this “New browser” becomes.

I’ve been talking about this lately, and finally i am putting it up for public.

I actually made this on a request from a CyberPK’s Loyal and Regular user, i didn’t thought that

other users would be experiencing the same problem like him, Until i recently fell into it myself.

It sure is annoying, having to keep logging in to your Wateen WiMAX account - so WateenConnector was created. WateenConnector is Exclusively made for Wateen WiMAX users…  Read More Below.

Requirements:
The only thing you need in order to run this application is .NET Framework installed on your computer, if you are Windows XP (SP 2) or higher user you must most probably have it installed already, if not you can download it from Microsofts Website.

WateenConnector is a new application and to be honest my second application that i ever released. so it might have bugs - though i’m surprised to see that its being downloaded frequently after putting it up online and adding it to stumbleupon’s listing i noticed that it was already download 15 times in 25 minutes to be precise.

I tried to make the application has sleek as much as i could for now, if you would like to support the development of this application use it and report all bugs either here or by visiting CyberPK and using our contact us page - You can also let us know if you have any cool suggestions to make this application even more useful.

I would really appreciate if people who have found this application useful to stumble, digg this post and spread the word about WateenConnector.

Its nothing much important or something to burden the wordpress bloggers, it looks like its just a mainenance patch thats fixes some issues that were found in the last major release of wordpress which was Wordpress 2.6 - Wordpress 2.6.1 has been released just about 1 month after the last one.

It isn’t required to upgrade to this latest release, but if you are having trouble with your current version of wordpress you should most likely upgrade as soon as possible.

I’m not sure, if i’ll be upgrading any time soon. I’m not having any trouble with the current but i just dont like to see that link at the bottom of the Administrator Panel saying Get version 2.6.1 :s so i might do it later some time.
